Our team is happy to announce that Ignite Austin 4 with Google Fiber is back! Help us welcome locals leaders such as Hugh Forrest (SXSW), Joe Iannello (Capital Metro), Simon Dudley (Lifesize), Rebecca Campbell (Austin Film Society), and more as they share their vision of the future on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. at Capital Factory.

Ignite provides an exciting opportunity to educate and spark conversations across multiple cultures and disciplines. The event achieves this through fast-paced, bite-sized presentations. The format is simple: five minutes, 20 slides (which automatically advance after 15 seconds). Let’s explore how high-speed ubiquitous connectivity can make an immediate impact on our residents, neighborhoods, tech scene, music scene, universities, and more.

Speaker proposals for Ignite Austin 4 will remain open until Tuesday, July 19, 2014. We will announce selections for speakers starting at 12 p.m. on Friday, July 11, 2014 until Monday, August 11, 2o14. Think you’ve got what it takes? We want to hear from you! Please submit your idea here.
